1) Efficient and energy-saving

Electric heating air heaters convert electrical energy into thermal energy, and when combined with heat pump systems, can achieve efficient thermal energy recycling. For example, the heat pump performance index (COP) of an air source heat pump dryer can reach 4.0 or above, and its energy consumption is only 30% of that of traditional coal-fired equipment. The actual case shows that the electric heating drying time after the transformation has been reduced from 48 hours to 24 hours, and the cost has been reduced by 50%.

2) Environmental protection and emission reduction

Traditional coal-fired or oil fired drying equipment generates exhaust gas pollution, while electric heating equipment has no combustion process and achieves zero emissions. For example, through the "coal to electricity" project in Yancheng, Jiangsu, the carbon dioxide emissions during the drying process have approached zero, and the dust treatment equipment has further reduced environmental pollution.

3) Precise temperature and humidity control

The electric heating system combined with Internet of Things technology can monitor environmental temperature and humidity, grain moisture content and other parameters in real time, and automatically adjust the hot air temperature (35-85 ℃) and wind speed through PLC to ensure uniform drying. Research has shown that precise temperature control can reduce the rate of rice bursting and improve grain quality.

Electric heating air heaters are usually composed of heating elements, fans, control systems, etc., and achieve drying through the following process:

1)  Air heating: Electric energy drives the heating element to heat the air to the set temperature (such as 63-68 ℃).

2)  Hot air circulation: The heated air is sent into the drying tower through a fan, where it undergoes heat and mass exchange with the grains to remove moisture.

3)  Waste heat recovery: Some equipment further reduces energy consumption by recovering wet waste heat.
