Application of electric explosion-proof heaters

Explosion proof electric heater is a type of heater that converts electrical energy into thermal energy to heat materials that need to be heated. In work, low-temperature fluid medium enters its input port through a pipeline under pressure, and follows a specific heat exchange channel inside the electric heating container. The path designed using fluid thermodynamics principles takes away the high-temperature thermal energy generated during the operation of the electric heating element, causing the temperature of the heated medium to rise. The outlet of the electric heater receives the high-temperature medium required by the process. The internal control system of the electric heater automatically adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal at the output port, so that the medium temperature at the output port is uniform; When the heating element overheats, the independent overheating protection device of the heating element immediately cuts off the heating power supply to prevent overheating of the heating material from causing coking, deterioration, and carbonization. In severe cases, it can cause the heating element to burn out, effectively extending the service life of the electric heater.
Explosion proof electric heaters are generally used in hazardous situations where there is a possibility of explosion. Due to the presence of various flammable and explosive oils, gases, dust, etc. in the surrounding environment, they can cause an explosion once they come into contact with electric sparks. Therefore, explosion-proof heaters are required for heating in such situations. The main explosion-proof measure for explosion-proof heaters is to have an explosion-proof device inside the junction box of the heater to eliminate the hidden danger of electric spark ignition. For different heating occasions, the explosion-proof level requirements of the heater also vary, depending on the specific situation.
Typical applications of explosion-proof electric heaters include:
1. Chemical materials in the chemical industry are heated up, some powders are dried under certain pressure, chemical processes, and spray drying.
2. Hydrocarbon heating, including petroleum crude oil, heavy oil, fuel oil, heat transfer oil, lubricating oil, paraffin, etc
3. Process water, superheated steam, molten salt, nitrogen (air) gas, water gas, and other fluids that require heating.
4. Due to the advanced explosion-proof structure, the equipment can be widely used in explosion-proof fields such as chemical, military, petroleum, natural gas, offshore platforms, ships, mining areas, etc
